serious equipment. that video card is sooo overkill for GRAW. though. Hey, you can record full HD videos with it while playing. We expect a new YouTube channel to go up the moment you get that rig configured
I know.  :)
I have the money to upgrade and I won't have to worry for years if I do open a Youtube channel.

The good news is I ordered a new computer.
The bad news is it's going to take about 3 weeks to build and deliver.

9th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 9700 (8-Core, 12MB Cache, up to 4.7GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology)
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit English
Video Card
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2080 8GB GDDR6
32GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2666MHz; up to 64GB (additional memory sold separately)
Hard Drive
1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Boot) + 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s (Storage)
Chassis Options
460W, Chassis with blue LED lighting and clear side panel

I think I'll be good for a while.  :)

I have not. I have seen the commercials on TV. It looks like a
lot of work and time you have to invest.
I don`t remember trying anything similar either but I am more of a shoot em up kind of guy.

General Discussion / Re: How to hide the weapon?

does anybody know if there is a method to hide the weapon in GRAW 1 or GRAW 2 at all? Would love to play GRAW in a nostalgic manner - feeling like the classic Ghost Recon.
I don't think so. I don't recall being able to that even in OGR. I could be wrong though.

You're probably right but I'd like to future proof a little. I am thinking of using my camera more now that I have time and possibly video so that eding software doesn't complain.  :-)
A newer monitor is also in the cards for those.

The wallet permits.  :)
2 Years Hardware Service with Onsite/In-Home Service After Remote Diagnosis for the XPS and 1 year for the G5. 2 years is and extra $40
Probably good enough as shit usually happens sooner rather than later.

These are easier to get. I just have to log in and click Add to cart.  :)
The second one has a bit better graphics card. And it looks cooler.  :)

Thanks for the input.

Any luck dude ? Do i need to send u my old pc ?
No. I've just had no time to take it in or get a new one.
Now that I'm retired I should have lots of time. I'm hoping this week all will be sorted out.

It isn't looking promising. On occasion the drive does appear and stays for a while. I have copied some stuff to a different drive but other things won't copy. I need administrator access, which I am....

Yup. The system isn't seeing the second, D: drive where everything is installed. It won't let me install to another drive because it know's it needs to find D:
I need to get a new machine anyway so.....

Can't access my D: drive that has everything on it.

An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 during a paging operation

I've been able to get to it a couple of time it it doesn't last. Larger issue than I can figure out.
I have gotten a lot of files off it am having issues installing on another drive because it can't find D:\program\etc...

Updates when I can.

We use Hamachi. It's a VPN. I don't think it's free but you can check that.
Once you have that set up your friend will need to install the client and connect to the Network.
