cheers

how is everyone, back from the grave so to speak:)

Not too bad, myself... Didn't do much in the way of festivities... having a couple brews; watching some youtube mostly. Just enjoying my day off before working again tomorrow. Oof

yall still playing GRAW?

i have played a few multi games over the years, but the most fun i had was with tGP

cs:s, gr(original), and graw

Rick helped me find a good copy of GRAW in private manners - though, not long after I had some IRL b.s. come up, and never got a chance to play again; granted I didn't play much GR/GRAW with you guys anyway.. could be fun in the future. Though, as of late I'm not too much into the FPS scene... a few cool games I enjoyed, like Destiny 2, and Borderlands were a couple exceptions.

zebra..........whatcha playing?

Mostly EVE Online, and a couple indi/arcade type games with the S/O .. I'm pretty boring this time of year. Heh heh

i have played some Hunter Showdown, let me tell you, it could be alot of fun with a GR state of mind

I saw some gameplay for The Hunt, but never played myself.. I did really enjoy a bit of Dead by Daylight.. haven't played much but from my experience it offers some real good adrenaline rushes. :P

General Discussion / How to hide the weapon?
« Last post by Dakota on October 31, 2019, 08:09:58 AM »
Hello,

does anybody know if there is a method to hide the weapon in GRAW 1 or GRAW 2 at all? Would love to play GRAW in a nostalgic manner - feeling like the classic Ghost Recon.

The wallet permits.  :)
2 Years Hardware Service with Onsite/In-Home Service After Remote Diagnosis for the XPS and 1 year for the G5. 2 years is and extra $40
Probably good enough as shit usually happens sooner rather than later.

These are easier to get. I just have to log in and click Add to cart.  :)
The second one has a bit better graphics card. And it looks cooler.  :)

Thanks for the input.

I'd say if the wallet permits it, neither of those would be a bad rig to buy; though you might be paying a slight premium - granted most cases like this you get some decent insurance for cheap to come along with it which could be helpful in the long run. You never know when you might get a DOA/Short Term part that just happens to crap out after a week. Thankfully that's never happened to me outright.

The only other thing I can tell you is I'd maybe even consider looking into some top-of-the-line AMD builds.

The most recent CPU, and GFX parts they've released are averaging better, and even in a lot of cases; beating Intel/Nvidia. Specifically the CPU (AMD's Ryzen 9 3900X) beats Intels newest lineup in Single, and Multi-Core performances.

I'm not as keen on the info with AMD's new GFX vs. Nvidia but, I know for sure AMD has pulled at least an ~80% lead in performance tests.

My current build is:
Ryzen 7 2700X (Paired with the X470 MOBO Socket [ASRock board name that slips my mind])
Nvidia GTX 1070 SC
16GB 3000Mhz RAM
250GB M.2 SSD
1TB 7200 RPM HDD

I went with Nvidia for graphics, purely because AMD simply hadn't caught up yet, and still hadn't until about a year into owning this build.
Everything else had AMD in mind; with hopes that Team Red would pull ahead. And they have lol.

Hope this helps a little with decision making.

About your channel on Twitch,
I have just tried to follow the link in your signature, but I got a Sorry. Unless you've got a time machine, that content is unavailable .
Is it closed?
Else, do you stream some GRAW operations sometimes?

Sorry for such a late reply - I'm terrible at keeping forum conversation; byproduct of working all the damn time. Oof.

As for the Breakpoint comment you had made, looks like the results are in, and not so good. Lol
Lot of backlash on that game from what I have been reading online. A co-worker of mine has the game for his Playstation-4, and enjoys it..but he enjoys most any games like that regardless.

As for my twitch link - must have changed it a while back, and don't remember.

Here would be the correct link if you'd like to shoot a follow to see when I pop on to stream. Usually it's just casual games with my S/O, and a few brews...but sometimes it's EVE Online (virtual spaceships/spreadsheets), and brews lol. In general.. I casually stream to have some beers, and chat with friends that pop in to chat, and hang out.

Cheers! Maybe I'll see you on there sometime.

Any luck dude ? Do i need to send u my old pc ?
No. I've just had no time to take it in or get a new one.
Now that I'm retired I should have lots of time. I'm hoping this week all will be sorted out.
Thanks.
